Stefan Mairhofer

Stefan is a current PhD student of the School of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham. He holds a BSc in Applied Computer Science from the University of Trento, an MSc in Computer Science from the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano and an MSc in Software Engineering from the Blekinge Institute of Technology. Before starting his PhD, Stefan has worked as a software engineer and developer at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano.Stefan’s PhD title is Extracting Root Architecture from Micro X-ray Computed Tomography Images of Roots in Soil. This PhD is funded by the IDTC (Interdisciplinary Doctoral Training Centre) for Integrative Biology, School of Biosciences and School of Computer Science (University of Nottingham).
